Enhanced access for National admins

We know you like your independence so we thought of giving it to you by enhancing your access  for some things you earlier needed to depend on Art of Living Digital.

1 - Finance admin roles can now be assigned by the National admins.

2 - While creating a new default fee structure or editing an existing one, National admins can choose to apply the fees to courses already announced in the system or just newly created ones.

Last year, we had introduced an easy-to-remember login URL for Harmony admins - ‘manage.artofliving.org’ that would detect the admin’s country and automatically redirects to that country’s Harmony login page.

We have enhanced this to work even when the Harmony admins are traveling outside their home country - a country selection is offered on ‘manage.artofliving.org’ so admins can select their country and proceed to log in.

Owing to Google’s increased prices, we had to remove Google maps from the venue section on the “New Course’ and ‘New Event’ page, earlier this year.

We have now re-introduced these maps in a way that minimizes the cost charged by Google, while offering the same ease that organizers are familiar with when adding or updating course / event venues.

Adding Venue details in the local language

Earlier, venue details could only be added in English even for the non-English speaking countries. This would make it difficult for some participants (who only spoke / knew the local language) to understand the course / event address on the website. Now, when editing a course / event, teachers / organizers can add the venue details in a local language in addition to English.

Improved course confirmation email for new course sign-ups

The confirmation email that participants receive after they have signed up for a course now includes all the details of the course contact person that are provided when creating the course. This gives participants greater ease of reaching out to the course contact in case they need any assistance.

Warning Signs for Teachers for

1 - participants with pending health and PPA status

In case there are participants who have not given their consent for PPA and health declaration, then the system will show a warning symbol against the participant’s record on the ‘view participant’s page’.  This is to highlight participants whose consent is pending, so teachers / organizers can follow up if needed.

2 - participants with privacy settings set to ‘DO  NOT CALL, etc.’

In case there are participants who have set their privacy settings set to ‘Do not email’ and ‘Do not phone’ on any page of Harmony where the participant’s email or phone is displayed, a ‘Stop’ symbol will be displayed for teachers to know that those participants are not to be contacted.

No end date for single day events

Earlier for all event types, the ‘event end date’ was enabled and often some  teachers would confuse that field with the ‘repeat end date’ field in cases of recurring events. Now, for single day events such as follow ups, Harmony will pre-fill and disable the ‘event end date’ field to avoid any confusion.

Uploading Offline Attendance Records

In some countries it is a legal requirement to document the participant attendance records offline. This new feature allows teachers to upload these offline attendance records in Harmony making it easier to retrieve them later if needed. This facility is available on the ‘View Participants’, ‘Course Details’ and ‘Submit CAF’ screens.

Uploading offline payment receipts

In case any offline payment receipts have been given out to the participants by the teachers or the organizers, then those can be uploaded against the participant’s record on the ‘View Participants’ page making it easier for teachers to retrieve them later in case needed.

Smoother CAF Submission

Earlier, when an assisted registration was done by a teacher / organiser, there were chances that participants miss the fact that their consent for PPA and health declaration was still pending, although it was mentioned in the registration confirmation email. This would lead to teachers having to follow up with the participants to get this action completed.

Now the confirmation email clearly emphasizes upfront, that there are pending actions (including PPA and health declaration) that need to be completed before participants attend the course. This is likely to reduce cases of pending PPA and health declaration, leading to a smoother CAF submission process for teachers while also reducing any legal liability concerns for the organization.

Bug Fixes

1 - Earlier the ‘disable course fee’ option would only work on the ‘manage course fees page’ but would not work on the individual ‘edit fee record’ page. We have fixed this and now the ‘disable course fee’ option works well on both the pages.

2 - Earlier once a residential course or event was announced, the accommodation section could not be edited / updated. Now even after a course / event is announced, new accommodation

  • No labels
