National Admin now has the option in the course type settings to enable a question on the registration form to collect prerequisites completion details from the participant. The question text can be customised, for example, “Provide the details of your Happiness course - course date, venue and teacher name.” Participants’ response can be seen on the participant registration pdf.
This allows organisers / teachers to check if their participants have indeed completed the prerequisites.
On the registration form for online courses and events, the city and states were listed in the venue, potentially creating confusion for the participants. Now the venue is displayed as ‘Online’ so it’s clear to the participants
For online courses and events, a note is shown in the Agreements section of the registration page informing participants they would need to keep their camera on.
This is an optional note, that can be turned on request for your organisation - to do so, please raise a ticket on the help desk.
National Admins now have the option to set a maximum capacity for individual course types.
This can be useful if the national policy is to limit the capacity for online courses for example, to ensure all participants get the attention they deserve!
Previous Versions : Editing of courses by teacher / organiser once the program date was completed was not possible.
Enhancement : Teachers / organisers can now edit completed courses in Harmony, provided they meet the following conditions:
1. Course status is not 'Canceled' or 'Pending review'
2. CAF status is not 'Closed' or 'Pending review'
This feature allows teachers / organisers to make edits such as add / remove teachers, even after the course is completed.
Participant transfer across residential courses
Earlier, Harmony allowed transfer of participants only between non-residential courses. This release brings in the ability of transferring participants from one course to another for both residential and non residential course types. For non-residential transfers, the accommodation type booked by the participant must be available in the course to which they are being transferred.
Discount code creation access for Program Desk roles
Earlier, when a discount code request was submitted by an organiser / teacher, a notification would be sent out to all National / Finance Admins. Now there is a setting where National Admin can specify who gets notified. Once set up, admins not involved in the review process do not get bothered with these notifications.
Automatic syncing of refunds status from Stripe
Occasionally, refund requests in Stripe stay in ‘Pending’ state for a few hours or days before getting ‘Confirmed’. Earlier, Harmony was recording only the initial refund status and later updates to the status in Stripe were not synced to Harmony. Now, updates to the refund status are also synced in Harmony, so that the organiser / teacher gets to see the accurate refund status.
‘Pay Later’ instructions can now be shown on the registration page itself.
If you need this feature enabled for your organisation, please raise a ticket on the help-desk.
Multiple offline payment methods available
It’s now possible to offer multiple offline payment methods on the registration form. The label of the method can be customised too. An offline payment method provides a way to record transactions done outside of Harmony.
If this is needed for your organisation, please raise a ticket on the help-desk to get it enabled.
Multiple offline deposits of revenue on CAF page
While submitting Course Accounting Form, under the Revenue tab, multiple rows can now be added, allowing each offline deposit made by teachers or organisers to be recorded separately, along with any notes.
New Accounting Expense and Revenue reports
Two new reports are now available to National Admins under the Reports module - Accounting Expense Details and Accounting Revenue Details, allowing them to view expense and revenue details of course / event types, or specific course / event ID.
Removed limit on maximum tickets per person that a participant can purchase
Organisers requested that there are at times events where they need to set a large limit on maximum tickets that individual participants can purchase - this is now possible.
Improved UX when editing course / event notes and its translation
Earlier, in countries with multiple languages enabled, when editing the course notes, organisers / teachers would update it in one language, but often miss updating the translation.
Now, in order to edit the course / event notes, an edit icon is offered, clicking on which a pop up is displayed with the content shown in all languages - so the organiser can update the content in all those languages on the same pop up.
This feature ensures that when the course / event notes are updated, they are updated in all languages.
Improved UI of "Select Existing Venue” when creating or editing course / event
Earlier, after selecting an existing venue on the New or Edit Course / Event screen, the venue details were displayed in “Edit” mode which was confusing for organisers / teachers. Now, the existing venue details are shown in a read-only format.
The venue details can still be edited if needed, by clicking the “Edit Venue” hyperlink shown right below the venue details.
Country / Region Specific enhancements
The following region specific enhancements have been done:
- Harmony is now available in these countries: (1) Togo and (2) Trinidad & Tobago.
- New online payment methods have been integrated for Brazil (Ebanx) and Hungary (Stripe)
- The Data Protection Officer (DPO) - in addition to the National Admin - is notified of changes to any Harmony contact’s communication preferences (applicable to countries that have a DPO).
- Several offline payment methods relevant in Germany are now offered on the assisted registration page.
