We are pleased to announce a new release of the Art of Living website, Unity 2.2.  It comes in two versions: Unity Lite and Unity Standard. Both versions include numerous updates, including several new features, an updated design, and the best content from various countries, fused into one.

The Standard version is the full-fledged version with 50+ pages containing complete content, latest design, and features. This version will be the default version for English instances for all countries and can also be translated for non-English instances if the country wishes to do so. The Lite version is a mini version (18 pages) with important highlights, latest design and key features meant only for non-English instances to enable faster translation and rollout.

We will reach out to the national coordinators soon so you can be upgraded to either the Standard or Lite version depending on your choice but until then we would like to introduce you to the amazing set of new features that these new versions offer and also highlight the difference between them.

Please note that the set of items explained below comes only with the Standard and Lite versions. Countries will get access to these only by upgrading to either of these versions.

Features

We have now made the search functionality smarter than earlier using better search logic making it easier for users to look for courses based on course type, location, a technique name such as (Sudarshan Kriya or mudra) or course aliases (such as Part - 1 and Happiness program) which will lead to increased conversions and happy customers.

The newly designed course search page now makes it possible for users to search or browse for a course within few seconds by typing the course name, using tags or by selecting a specific course from the list. For instance, if the user selects the tag ‘meditation’ and all meditation courses will be listed for a user to select from.  Additionally, the user will also be able to search for courses by distance, location, start date and sort courses based on different criteria easily.

We will now showcase a prominent full-width Happiness program section on the home page and center pages with introductory text and details of up to three nearby courses happening. This will not just highlight our flagship program but also enable users to select a course and register with minimum clicks.

Design

The overall design of the Standard and Lite version will be based on a full-width theme (without padding on the sides), proven to drastically improve usability.

The home page has been redesigned to include a new set of images, achievements bar, featured section with media logos, research highlights and much more. The page has been revamped to enable users to select and register for a course with just a few clicks. Additionally, it showcases the breadth of content that the website comes with, by highlighting the wisdom section, featured blog posts and service projects highlights.

The Happiness program is our flagship program which marks the entry of a participant into the organization. Hence it becomes imperative to bring out the various benefits of the program in the best possible way.

We have developed a completely new version of the Happiness program pages with seven different sections backed with latest content and design. To top it all, the new page has already proven to be a big success in the USA with a 50% increase in revenue and conversions during the period of A/B testing it against the older version.

In the new version, the center page has been redesigned with a pop up to capture leads, the full-width component with upcoming programs for all the important courses and events which includes Happiness, Sahaj, Meditation and Yoga classes, Introductory sessions etc. It also has a new set of images, 'featured in' section with media logos, a separate section on media coverage and much more.

Content

With the new version comes the wisdom section with nine different categories, blog section with six categories and global service project highlights. The country also becomes eligible for a periodic upgrade of their website with content generated across the globe, thus engaging the customer with new offerings.
