Presenting the new set of features as a part of our regular Harmony upgrade. Most of these features will be available by default on all country instances.
Features
Earlier teachers could only announce daily, weekly and monthly recurring events. The new custom dates feature allows teachers to announce recurring events with custom dates and times for each instance. Up to eight upcoming instances can be announced at a time, and as event dates pass, additional custom dates and times can be added.
When a list of contacts exported from Harmony (in csv format) was opened in MS Excel, certain special characters would not show up properly making it a brain boggling exercise to understand. While this is a limitation with MS Excel, considering its popularity we have now provided an option to export directly in Excel format.
This feature earlier was made available only for participant exports which has not been extended for contact exports as well.
Earlier, there were pre-set filters on the View Participants page, resulting in certain participants - those who had canceled or dropped out, or whose payment had failed - being hidden in the default view. Teacher and organizers had to remove the pre-set filters to see these participants - this was not obvious.
Now there are no pre-set filters and the view participant page lists all the participants who registered for the course.
The Retry Payment workflow has been optimized - now if a participant with a prior failed payment attempts a fresh registration, they are automatically redirected to the ‘Retry Payment’ page.
This is unlike earlier where the organizers had to first cancel the participant in Harmony before they could attempt a guest registration, leaving both the organizers and participants frustrated.
This payment process optimization will substantially reduce the manual effort for teacher, reduce customer frustration, and also lead to better conversions for courses.
